K11 Musea and renowned art platform APPortfolio has unveiled Pop Infinity, a collectible art exhibition featuring limited edition artworks based on popular Disney characters. The exhibition, which took APPortfolio two years to curate, showcases interpretations of Disney figures – highlighting mostly the iconic Mickey Mouse – in sculptures made from fibre glass, wood, resin, plush rugs and cushions made from acrylic fabrics, including a special 18k white and yellow gold diamond-encrusted necklace ($398,000) created in partnership with jewellery makers Chow Tai Fook.
Expect works from top international contemporary artists which include Hikari Shimoda, Katherine Bernhardt, David Flores, Estudio Campana, Tenmyouya Hisashi, Satoru Koizumi, Philip Colbert, among others.
These art pieces are now available in a 360-degree virtual display where interested parties can see the artworks up close and head to the shop to pre-order.
