Zhu Tian: The Best of Everything
Time Out says
Zhu Tian brings her signature installations and thought-provoking art pieces to Hong Kong that challenges societal norms
A previous winner of the Caitlin Art Prize, artist Zhu Tian brings Hong Kong her signature sculptures and installations as a response to financial, political and social structures in society. Spanning across drawing, photography, animation, sculpture and site-specific installations, this solo exhibition includes iconic mixed media installation Dirty, which has never been exhibited in Asia and Zhu’s famous lifelong performance piece Money, where she shares with the public her current bank balance question the usual polite discourse around the subject of money.
No stranger to defying conventions, Zhu’s challenges different societal norms and is unafraid to make audiences make people feel uncomfortable and question their own behaviour in society.
