Time Out says

A unique, neoclassical structure in the heart of the city

In the midst of the many skyscrapers and high-rise buildings in Central sits the historic Court of Final Appeal. The two-storey neo-classical building was opened in 1912 under the British rule as the Supreme Court and was converted into the Hong Kong Legislative Council in 1985, before reverting back to its original purpose as the Court of Final Appeal in 2015. One of Central’s few remaining historical monuments, a blindfolded statue of Themis, the Greek goddess of Justice, sits atop the main entrance.
