Time Out says

Former Hong Kong Olympic cyclist and wine aficionado Jack Wu is now opening his second bar in Central. After running whisky bar Club Qing, the industry veteran is now turning his attention to another one of his biggest passions: wine. Located just below Lan Kwai Fong on Wellington Street is Bar Cyclone, a nod to his athletic past as well as the element of wind, a crucial phenomenon during the wine production process.

While the establishment is hoping to eventually open up to general customers, it’ll initially launch as a members-only club, offering its patrons around 320 different bottles of wine from all over the world at significantly better prices than their non-member counterparts. Aside from ordering in glasses and bottles, customers can also enjoy a number of different tasting sets, including a special omakase-style menu hand-picked by Jack himself ($600 to $800).

Those interested to sign up for the membership may enquire via email at barcyclonehk@gmail.com.
