Chef Vicky Lau’s two-Michelin-starred restaurant Tate Dining Room has settled into its new, permanent home on Lok Ku Road in Sheung Wan. In the new dining space, diners can expect to enjoy playfully ambitious creations, featuring seasonal Chinese ingredients prepared with classic French techniques. Savour technically demanding dishes such as Ode to Scallop, which transforms scallops into a soufflé and is served alongside mushrooms with consommé, pigeon, and lobster. Plus, opt for signatures from Tate’s menu, including the Ode to Lobster, made with both French blue lobster and local green lobster. With an impressive cellar that holds over 1,200 bottles of French wines, guests are guaranteed to find the perfect vintage to complement their meal.
