Sick of slow weekend drivers and constantly annoyed at the traffic jams in Central? Well, road rage no more. This Sunday (25 September), the busy street of Des Voeux Road Central is going to be cleared of traffic and turned into a car-free public space for a whole day! A joint project between Walk DVRC, Clean Air Network and Hong Kong Public Space Initiative, the 200m length from Central's Man Wa Lane to Morris Street in Sheung Wan will be transformed into a free space (creatively titled Very DVRC), inviting Hongkongers to take part in a wide variety of arts and culture and sports activities. It's being done to highlight the importance of the environment while also showing that it's possible for Hong Kong to be a green, sustainable city.

Head over to Des Voeux Road Central on Sunday, from 10am-4pm, and breathe in fresh air without any car exhaust or pesky short-tempered drivers.
