Giving us all an amazing excuse to run off to Macau for a weekend of partying, The Summer Love Pool Party series at Studio City got under way on June 10 in epic fashion with beautiful weather, bodies and tunes in abundence.
The Second Wave seeks to kick things up another notch this July 15 with electro mashup kings DJs From Mars taking over with two world class DJs supporting. There's really no excuse to not be cutting some shapes in the pool and at the huge after-party at Pacha Macau from 10.30pm.
Headliners DJs From Mars bring serious attitude to their incredible electrohouse mashups and originals. Starting out by remixing hits for artists like Bimbo Jones, Sean Paul, Pitbull, Yves Larock, Sophie Ellis Bextor, Fragma, Ciara, Cascada, Coolio, Ennio Morricone, their incredible talent was soon noticed, with the Italian duo racking up more than 40 million views on YouTube.
Support — though that seems borderline offensive in this case as these two DJ acts are behemoths in their own right — comes by way of Lush & Simon, who consistently deliver some of the finest progressive tunes in Europe and HUGEL, the suave French DJ/producer who drops huge electronic beats with the sole intention of 'making girls dance'. An admirable cause if there's ever been one.
