July is finally here, which means it’s time to make a splash at Ocean Park’s annual Summer Splash. Yes, forget the pouring rain because from now until August 27, the theme park’s Applause Pavilion will be transformed into a sandy beach – because Ocean Park is so far away from Repulse Bay beach – to enjoy some watery fun with your mates and get drenched in games (with totally child-appropriate names) like the Mega Gush, Super Spray Tunnel and Wild Foam Zone, as well as an inflatable obstacle course. Whilst you’re drying off, check out the “highlight” of Summer Splash: three gigantic sand sculptures, including a 153sqm wide and 6m tall installation made by renowned sand sculpture artist Ray Villafane and his team. Get those selfie sticks ready!

And if you’ve ever dreamed of diving into the aquarium’s giant fish tank – I know I’m excited for the Aquaman movie – this is your chance. Sign up for the ‘Grand Aquarium Exploration’ snorkelling program ($660) this summer for a 75-minute session with a professional diver and encounter all colourful coral fishes. Summer also means late night openings at Ocean Park. You can now pop along and go on all the signature rides between the hours 5pm-9pm from July 14 to August 27 for $288. Water-you-waiting for...

$438. July 1-13 10am-6pm; July 14-August 27 10am-8pm (Mon-Thu), 10am-9pm (Fri-Sun).
