While another giant shopping mall is probably the last thing Hong Kong needs, an interesting addition to the crowd is set to be added to Mong Kok's Sneaker Street from mid-2017. Avid shoppers can look forward to browsing through 'The Forest', a nature/sports-themed shopping mall bringing a bit of greenery to good ol' MK. This 50,000 sq ft, three-storey mall is set to be a unique addition to the area, with a fresh mix of modern architecture and local culture from surrounding hot spots, featuring lots of natural light, earth tones, and, of course, an abundance of greneery. The mall's inspiration takes cues from Tokyo's trendy Daikanyama district with cute narrow alleys, vibrant shopping spots and of course, lots of greenery. We can't wait to see how this turns out!
The Forest is located on Nelson Street, Mong Kok. It opens mid-2017.
