Time Out says

Organised by the Alliance Française de Hong Kong with the support of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, the film festival will be screening a total of 40 films both in cinemas and online for streaming. Local film fans will be able to catch an array of acclaimed French films spanning over different genres from comedies to thrillers, documentaries to romance.

In light of the current sitation, a selection of 14 films will be screened on The Festival online streaming platform from Nov 29 to Dec 13, allowing French film lovers to enjoy French cinema anytime, and anywhere.

The Festival pays tribute to one of the monuments of French cinema, Michel Piccoli who passed away earlier this year. A selection of six films dedicated to Michel Piccoli will be screened in the Retrospective program. The legendary figure started his charming performance from the 1940s, and then established himself on the international scene alongside big names such as Luis Buñuel, Alfred Hitchcock and Nanni Moretti.

Hong Kong film lovers will also have the opportunty to interact wtih respected French directors in live post screening Q&A sessions in partnership with Agence France-Presse (AFP).
