Hong Kong’s very own drag dining extravaganza (because brunch is a lifestyle more than anything)
Strap up (or strap on), ’cause your Sunday Funday is about to be forever changed. There girls here are cinched, tucked and ready to roll.
There are two sittings for this event: one at 11am and another at 1pm. The brunch itself consists of Lily & Bloom’s (call the restaurant to book) existing weekend free-flow offering, made even juicier with performances and audience-participation games from three of Hong Kong’s fiercest drag queens.
First up is the event’s hilarious hostess, the incomparable Madame Mincemeat. Hailing from New Zealand, and with a wit second to none, she’ll keep you roaring with laughter from the moment you arrive. Service face is Miss Midlevels, a Filipina princess and makeup artist extraordinaire. Jaws will drop when she struts her stuff, serving pageant realness on a diamond-encrusted platter. And coming in hot, last but not least, is the daring diva XXXotica. She may be Canadian, but there’s nothing demure about this pole-dancing queen.
