Fans who couldn’t get to see the acclaimed Japanese rock band Radwimps during their sold-out world tour last year, flex your fingers and get ready to click for tickets. The band will be going back on the road this year with their ‘The way you yawn, and the outcry of Peace’ world tour, starting off at Tokyo’s Yoyogi National Stadium on April 6.

For one night only, the tour will take Radwimps to our very own AsiaWorld-Expo on Tuesday, May 7. Pre-sale for Live Nation members will begin at 3pm on February 5, while general sales start on February 6 on cityline.com. Multi-platinum pop singer-songwriter Elijah Woods is bringing his tour to Asia, playing locations such as Singapore, Bangkok, Tokyo, and, of course, Hong Kong. This is the artist’s first time touring in Asia, and fans can expect that his wildly catchy melodies performed in person will only be more enjoyable than ever. Tickets are running from $320 to $799.

Paris-based multi-talented musician Vincent Fenton will be playing in Hong Kong for one night only in May. Better known as French Kiwi Juice or FKJ, his musical arrangements move easily through blues, electronica, and pop – perhaps a reflection of how he taught himself to play a wide array of instruments. With shows selling out in Asia, Europe, Australia, and America, we can’t wait to see FKJ live, jumping between vocals, guitars, sax, keys, and more in a performance like no other. Tickets are on sale for $999.

After a Hong Kong fan meet with his Bad Buddy co-star Ohm early last year, Thai actor and singer Korapat Kirdpan – better known as Nanon – will be returning to our city with his own concert. The Thailand ‘Born to Beo’ concert wrapped up in March but still left fans wanting, so the 23-year-old is bringing his solo concert to us. Tickets range between $688 and $1,688, and while a random selection of attendees from the most affordable tier will receive photos and get picked to go to Nanon’s send-off session, VIP ticket holders will receive photos, signed posters, and access to both sound check and send-off. Sales start at noon on April 22.

Alexander 23, whose real name is Alexander Glantz, will be performing across five cities in Asia, starting with Hong Kong on June 9. Aside from putting out his own critically acclaimed tracks, the artist has also gone on tour with musicians such as Alec Benjamin, Omar Apollo, John Mayer, and Lauv, and co-produced Olivia Rodrigo’s good 4 u. Seeing him perform live is bound to present another level of appreciation for his musicality. Tickets are going from $399 to $899.

If you’re on the clock app, then you’ll already know imase, the 23-year-old Japanese singer who went viral just one year after getting into music. His hit track Night Dancer has gone on to become the first J-pop song to chart within the top 20 on South Korean streaming platform Melon. It’s been wild seeing how imase has gone from making music from a desk underneath his bunk bed to performing and winning awards at the MMAs and the CCMAs last year – we can’t wait to see him live.

This will be the Japanese singer-songwriter’s first time touring Asia in six years since her last tour in 2018. So far, dates for Taipei and Hong Kong have been confirmed, with Shanghai and more cities promised to come. Risa Oribe, better known by her stage name LiSA, said in a message to her fans, ‘I can finally meet you all! Thank you for waiting so long!’ Fingers crossed she’ll be singing her hit singles Gurenge and Homura.

Japanese singer and lyricist Aimer will be returning to Hong Kong after five years for a concert. Named ‘3 nuits’, or ‘three nights’ in French, the tour will be going to three major Asian cities, namely Shanghai, Taipei, and Hong Kong. Having started her musical career back in 2011, Aimer has plenty of hits, including the theme songs for several anime series such as Demon Slayer, Chainsaw Man, and Bleach. Catch the singer’s signature husky vocals on July 9 – tickets are now on sale, ranging from $780 to $1,380.

Popular Korean hyperpop girl group aespa will be going on their world tour this year, and one of their many stops in Asia includes Hong Kong. Since their first world tour Hyper Line in 2023, the group has gone on to release their chart-topping My World EP, recorded theme songs for the Pokemon and Beyblade anime series, and been the first Korean pop act to perform at the Governors Ball Music Festival in New York. Let’s hope their setlist includes fan favourites such as Savage, Black Mamba, and Spicy. More details about aespa’s concert have yet to be released, but they have also been confirmed to be playing in Macau on September 21.

Celebrated Japanese singer Utada Hikaru has announced that she is coming to Hong Kong on her Science Fiction tour. This will be her first tour in many years, as well as her first-ever concert in Hong Kong. Tickets will range from $680 to $1,580 – registration for the priority ticket ballot will run from noon on April 22 to 6pm on April 23, and if chosen, priority sales will begin on April 29. General sales will then start on May 8. 

Following from their Hong Kong concert last August, indie pop band Lany are once again returning to our shores later this year in October. Their world tour comes straight off the back of their new studio album ‘a beautiful blur’, with hit tracks such as Alonica, XXL, and Cause You Have To. Let’s place bets on whether they’ll be performing the studio or ‘Hopeless’ stripped back version of Love At First Fight at the live concert. Prices have yet to be released, but fans can secure the first round of tickets at the artist presale on March 11, while the Live Nation presale is available for members on March 13. General sales will then start on March 14.

Following the announcement that their new LP X’s will be dropping on July 12, Cigarettes After Sex will also be going on a world tour that will extend into 2025. The band’s slowcore, raw, pop sound is gradually drawing from slow dance inspiration from the 70s and 80s. Their music has always been easy to sink into with a sensuality that has become part of their signature sound. As the trio will only arrive in town on tour early next year, ticketing details have yet to be announced, but check back for updates!
