The famed video game series gets the classical treatment featuring some of Nobuo Uematsu's most iconic works

This year sees the seminal Japanese roleplaying videogame series, Final Fantasy, turn 30. The incredibly memorable soundtrack for each game has become an integral part of the series' charm for many. When the album of orchestral arrangements of the series' music was released in 2015, it quickly hit the number one spot on the iTunes Classical Charts in more than 10 countries and also reached the top five of both the Billboard Charts and the official UK Charts. In the upcoming Final Symphony concert, the HK Phil will play some of the most iconic tunes from the sixth, seventh and 10th games in the series.
