HKAF: Ray Chen Violin Recital

Exciting young violin star Ray Chen joins the Hong Kong Arts Festival to play a programme that promises to draw in both connoisseurs and newcomers alike. Chen, with victories in the 2008 Yehudi Menuhin Violin Competition and the 2009 Queen Elisabeth Violin Competition, and a big social media presence across many platforms, including a two million-strong SoundCloud following, is sure to impress this year with a programme of Beethoven, Ysaÿe, Saint-Saëns, Manuel de Falla and Vittorio Monti.
