Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra 40th Season Opener

The Hong Kong CHiense Orchestra returns in magnificent fashion with a two-night season opener showcasing the music that links the Zhou, Qin, Han and Tang dynasties to modern Hong Kong. On the programme are concertos featuring Chinese instruments, including Travelling West, a piece about the Han dynasty featuring the dizi.
