Musicus Fest Hong Kong: A Fiddler In The City

If ever there was a chance to escape our city into a quiet space, this performance would be it. Escape into the lush greenery of the Nan Lian Garden in Diamond Hill for an intimate chamber programme of original pieces. Led by Finnish violinist Pekka Kuusisto and joined by the Tapiola String Quartet and local erhuist Mak Ka-yin, the musicians will play two comissioned pieces by classical guitarist-composer Denise Mei Yan Hoffmann and Musicus Society’s own Hippocrates Cheng, as well Improvisations by Pekka Kuusisto himself.
