It can be a thankless task putting together a gig of local acts in Hong Kong (or any gig for that matter). That's what makes The Gig Week such an impressive feat - seven days, seven venues, seven themes/genres (showcase, acoustic, hip hop, punk, metal, dance rock, live electro), and all of this at a ludicrously low price. Events like this are the life blood of the scene, it's 100 percent Hong Kong live music and it deserves our money and our attention. See you there.
