Exclusive plush, custom keychains, and crinkly rice balls

Hong Kong fans are in for a real treat this Easter as everyone’s favourite robotic cat Doraemon is back with a brand-new cherry blossom-themed pop-up experience. After going on a grand tour across Asia, the ‘100% Doraemon & Friends’ exhibition is heading to Tokyo – but not without a quick detour in Hong Kong. To celebrate this homegrown project’s international success, creative brand AllRightsReserved (ARR) is bringing the excitement back with a ‘100% Doraemon Sakura Fest’ in Causeway Bay.
The Sakura Fest is a multi-level experience spread across three floors of Hysan Place, each offering something different:
The festival will run from April 3 to 19 at Hysan Place in Causeway Bay. The pop-up store is open daily from 10am to 9pm (last entry at 8.45pm), while the game zone operates from 10.30am to 9.30pm.
Entry to the pop-up store from April 3 to 12 requires pre-registration, which will be available on Klook starting 11am on April 1 on a first-come, first-served basis.
Those looking to get their hands on some limited-edition merch are in luck, as there’ll be a ton of Hong Kong- and Tokyo-exclusive items. This includes seven new plush keychain characters, the cherry blossom-scented Sakura Doraemon plush keychain, and the Rice Ball Doraemon plush keychain that crinkles when squeezed. Also available are a photochromic T-shirt that reveals sakura patterns in sunlight, blind-box mini figures, A4 lenticular folders with motion effects, and more.
For serious collectors, a limited-edition Sakura Doraemon bronze sculpture (HK$3,980) will also be released globally. Decked out in Swarovski crystals and a sophisticated rose gold finish, the sculpture is limited to just 200 pieces worldwide.
Fans who may not be able to visit the pop-up store in person can secure some of their favourite items – including the ultra-rare Sakura Doraemon bronze sculpture – through a limited online pre-order available on the DDT Store website from 11am on March 31 to 11pm on April 2.
