With an existing location in Mong Kok’s Moko Mall, Asari lands in Hong Kong Island with two new locations this month in Taikoo Place and Hysan Place.
Founded in 2016 – and like many of its Shibuya contemporaries – Asari began as a casual wear retailer, rapidly growing into a lifestyle retail brand whose product offerings now include everything from homeware and gadgets, to beauty and cosmetics, to stationery, sports and streetwear. Hong Kong can look forward to the launch of Asari’s fashion brand Tokyo Social Club, kitchenware brand Okada & Co., and homeware brand Kozo & Washi.

Asari designers are a bit like those elusive musicians who write hit songs but never chase fame themselves – you might not know them, but you definitely know their work. In recent years, the concept has made itself an international name, occupying the streets and shopping malls of numerous major cities, while staying true to its focus on clean, accessible, and functional products.

The Christmas 2020 collection is inspired by the word 'Godspeed' to represent prosperity and success for the new year ahead. The collection is happy, colourful, and full of joy, getting everyone pumped to ring in 2021. In addition to the three locations in Hong Kong, Asari is projected to open an additional four stores after March 2021, including the new Asari concept: Asari Coffee & Store. This new project is exclusive to Hong Kong, featuring a coffee shop, book store and gourmet corner stocked with products from Japan, Italy, Spain, Greece and Portugal.
