The most anticipated film of the year Avengers: Endgame is finally out today in Hong Kong! Will the Avengers be able to defeat Thanos and ‘unsnap’ all the lives back? Or will more of your favourite superheroes perish and turn into dust? These answers will all be revealed. But if you have trouble getting your hands on the hottest (movie) ticket in town, CGV Cinemas at D2 Place has got your back.
Between today until May 5, head to the D2 Place cinemas dressed as an Avenger, and you’ll have the chance to win free tickets to the film and a popcorn set! You’ll have to make an actual effort to participate – we’re talking proper costumes, not just some measly t-shirt with the superhero logo: make-up, props, the works – and upload a selfie in front of the Endgame display on Instagram tagging @d2place and @cgvcinemashk with the hashtags #D2PlaceCGVAvengers. Oh, and you’ll have to follow the D2 Place IG account as well. Once you’ve done all that – and let’s be honest, you’ll probably be doing tons of selfies anyway – head up to the cinema staff and they’ll determine whether you fit the superhero bill.
There’s a quota of free tickets to only 20 cosplayers a day, so we suggest going for the midnight showings to make sure you have the tickets in the bag. Good luck!
