Dine surrounded by amputated limbs and organs at Ocean Park this Halloween

Ocean Park’s annual Halloween extravaganza might seem on shaky ground after one visitor’s unfortunate death last year, but the Southside theme park is determined to keep the scares coming. Most grizzly of all for 2018 is its planned Hospital of Horrors at Café Ocean. The restaurant is set to be decked out as a hospital emergency room and filled with blood-soaked limbs and organs, X-rays of skeletons and clinical surgical instruments. Staff will be dressed as emergency room surgeons to greet diners who don’t mind a bit of extra blood on their plate.

We think it all looks eerily similar to those falun gong booths that claim organ harvesting is a thing. But if it all seems too much, take a deep breath and relax with the news that the other headline-grabbing feature of Ocean Park’s Halloween festivities this year is to be a collaboration with Sanrio. This will see a special ‘Hello-ween Pop-up Store’ open as well as cute Sanrio-themed items on the menu. Expect the likes of a Bad Badtz-Maru crab cake and a Gudetama soup.

Eager diners can try the gruesome grub starting from next week, from September 19 to November 4.
