As excitement builds for the opening of Shake Shack at IFC – apparently scheduled for spring – we’re all itching to get a taste of the famous New York institution’s burgers and fries.
Well, our prayers have been answered as there’s going to be a one-day pop-up shop at the IFC atrium this Saturday. It’s only for five hours between 11am-4pm, but you’ll get the chance to try two of Shake Shack’s signature burgers and fries ahead of the rest of the public.
On the menu will be the ShackBurger (beef cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, and ShackSauce), Shroom Burger (crisp-fried Portobello mushroom filled with melted muenster and cheddar cheese, topped with lettuce, tomato, and ShackSauce; pictured), crinkle-cut fries, ShackMeister ale, Shack red wine, Shack white wine and assorted soft drinks.
It’ll doubtless be busy, so get ready to queue bright and early. May the odds be ever in your favour!
