To celebrate its third anniversary, Igloo Dessert Bar at Central Pier 7 has launched new gelato flavours, including White Rabbit candy and Horlicks, that will surely evoke memories from your childhood.
Committed to using fresh and natural ingredients of different textures and flavours, Igloo has constantly rolled out different seasonal flavours and enjoys putting fun spins on their ice creams. Take the apple pie gelato for example, which features an apple filling and crumble topping with caramel sauce. And for this season, Igloo goes nostalgic and infuses old-school local flavours into its frozen treats. Must-tries include the Horlicks gelato topped with Maltesers bits and malted powder; Ovaltine gelato topped with generous chunks of KitKat; lemon cream gelato infused with fresh lemon juice and topped with lemon puff biscuits; peanut butter gelato infused with real peanut butter, condensed milk and sponge cake pieces to recreate a Hong Kong-style toast in ice cream form; and most excitingly the White Rabbit Candy gelato topped with gooey White Rabbit sauce.
Igloo also offers vegan options with flavours like blood orange, pineapple, lime, coconut water and dark chocolate. Meanwhile, those who are lactose intolerant can still satisfy their sweet tooth with the almond milk-based gelati, which comes in flavours like creme brûlée, red velvet and tiramisu.
Even if you’re not hopping on a ferry to somewhere, it’s definitely worth making a trip to the Central Pier 7 this weekend for a scoop or two.
