With less a month to go before Avengers: Endgame hits cinemas, the anticipation is almost stifling. But here to tide things over is the long-awaited Ant-Man themed ride, Ant-Man and The Wasp: Nano Battle, at Hong Kong Disneyland, which officially opens to the public on March 31.

Since acquiring the rights to Star Wars and Marvel, Disney is getting its money’s worth from the franchises as it continues to add new attractions based on the characters and movies. Following the unveiling of The Iron Man Experience back in 2017, which was the world’s first Marvel-based Disneyland ride, Hongkongers can look toward to another immersive dive into the MCU with Ant-Man and The Wasp: Nano Battle! Essentially replacing the Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters ride, the ride sees park visitors hop on a moving pod as they shoot and fight off “Swarmbots” sent by Hydra. There’s a couple of Easter eggs to watch out too including Stan Lee’s name and birthday hidden beside the fans in the ride.

While you’re there, you can also check out 14 artefacts from more than a dozen Marvel movies and TV shows. Comics are also on display, some of which are exclusively exhibited at Hong Kong Disneyland. There’ll also tons of new Ant-Man merch at the gift shops and Ant-Man themed food and drinks. So without further ado, here’s a taste of what to expect at the new Marvel ride at Hong Kong Disneyland.
