Hong Kong Flower Show 2025 is now open! Here's how to get free flowers

Spring has sprung, and so has the annual Hong Kong Flower Show! This year, the show promises to be bigger, more colourful, and a whole lot bloomier. Here's everything you need to know about the Hong Kong Flower Show 2025.
The Hong Kong Flower Show is running for 10 days straight from March 14 to 23, opening from 9am to 9pm daily.
This year’s theme is 'Ablaze with Glory', with the cosmos taking centre stage as the show's theme flower.
General admission is priced at $14 per person, while concession tickets (children aged four to 14, full-time students, people with disabilities and their caregivers, and seniors aged 60 or above) are $7 per person. Free admission is available on Mondays to Fridays for senior citizens aged 60 and over, as well as people with disabilities and their caregivers.
The 2025 Hong Kong Flower Show takes place at Victoria Park, which you can easily get to via MTR. Make your way to Tin Hau station exit A2 or Causeway Bay station exit E and walk a short distance to the park. There are also numerous buses and trams that stop near the venue.
Visitors are invited to wander through stunning displays like the 3D Flower Wall, where flower bouquets create a vibrant floral backdrop, or immerse in the Sea of Tulips, a colourful field of tulips in full bloom. There’s also the 'Grand Journey Across Europe', where lavender fields, Roman fountains, and Venetian gondolas will transport you to another world.
For something closer to home, check out 'Joyful Vibrancy Around Town', celebrating the upcoming National Games with sports-themed floral installations, or the Brand Hong Kong floral wall adorned with carnations and flaming katy.
Beyond the stunning floral displays, the Hong Kong Flower Show offers a range of activities for visitors of all ages. Participate in floral art demonstrations, join green workshops, or enjoy music and cultural performances. Visitors can also join a guided tour and play interactive games, while photography enthusiasts will find endless opportunities to capture the beauty of the blooms.
As a beloved tradition, the Hong Kong Flower Show gives away free plants from the exhibition at the end of the event every year. After the show concludes on March 23, organisers may distribute flowers and plants in good condition for the public to take home. Needless to say, you can expect a queue. Details are yet to be announced so stay tuned.
