We hear about big designer labels crossing over with high street brands all the time, and without a doubt, they always fly off the shop shelves like there’s no tomorrow. So, imagine our surprise when we heard that IKEA has teamed up with Virgil Abloh, the founder of Milan-based label Off-White, to create a special time-limited collection of homeware, MARKERAD.

Embedding a minimalistic undertone in a series of artwork-like homeware and furniture (take the giant receipt rug and the backlit Mona Lisa painting for example!), along with Abloh's signature quotation marks (" ") design, the collection is easily one of the most creative and buzz-worthy collaborative series by IKEA.

The full collection will be available for purchase from the Sha Tin store starting from November 7, while the Causeway Bay, Kowloon Bay and Tsuen Wan stores will have to wait till November 11. However, shoppers can still get their hands on the reusable carrier bag (Large: $129.9, Small: $99.9) and the 17-piece toolset ($69.9) starting from November 7 from the latter three store locations. Remember, each shopper is only allowed to purchase a maximum of two pieces per item, so hurry while stocks last!
