Recently we've seen many of our favourite musicians take to social media with live streamed performances, and it provides welcome, inspiring interludes for all of us stuck predominantly inside. Well, now Hong Kong-based artist JUNK! will be getting in on the action, bringing us a concert on Saturday night, lovingly streamed from his home.
The audio-visual artist has gained a faithful following in the city for his off-the-wall music style, which fuses elements of rock and hip hop with chiptune and electro. Add to this bright and hilarious visuals and it's not hard to see why his live performances have gained a reputation as intensely fun affairs. The Saturday gig promises to be a similarly boozy, fun-filled session in which existing fans – and new ones alike – can enjoy tunes from the JUNK! back catalogue as well as some newer creations.
