Heads up, photography fans! German premier camera maker Leica has just opened its first Hong Kong flagship store on Pak Sha Road in Causeway Bay. A camera store, art gallery and café all rolled into one, the new Leica Shop allows you to shop for top-of-the-line cameras while appreciating stunning photos with a coffee in hand.

Step through the black metal facade of the shop to be greeted by an extensive range of cameras, lenses, accessories and photo books. But what makes the shopping experience here even more special is the showcase of works by international and local photographers on the walls – taken with a Leica camera of course – which will be regularly updated. To help celebrate the opening, acclaimed local photographer Bobby Lee’s Chinese opera-inspired works can be seen throughout the space.

The Leica Shop also sees the opening of Cafe Leitz, which has partnered up with Hong Kong’s own Interval Coffee Bar to offer a creative menu. Aside from a variety of coffees, look out for speciality brews like the espresso lime tonic, as well as Hong Kong-style snacks. And hey, why not make use of your new Leica purchases and snap some beautiful pics of your drink?
