If you’ve been holding out for a little slice of Parisian life in the city, you’re in luck. A new all-day bistro called Bistrot’s Suzette has just opened its doors, and it’s promising to deliver exactly the kind of spot that makes you want to linger over your wine until the sun goes down.

Located at Cullinan Sky Mall in Kai Tak, the new eatery is a collaboration between Silver Spoon Restaurants and chef Tiff Lo, who you might recognise from the beloved Wan Chai French bistro Jean May. Bringing that same focus on nostalgic, unpretentious cooking to this new kitchen, Lo packs the menu with French classics ranging from chicken liver parfait ($128) and steak tartare ($198) to a creamy oeuf mimosa with smoked salmon ($32/pc) and crispy black olive panisse frits ($108).

Mains take a hearty turn with signatures like beef bourguignon ($298) and steak frites ($358), while desserts keep things playful with the restaurant’s namesake dish, Crêpe Soufflé à la Suzette ($118), finished tableside with classic Suzette orange sauce and a splash of Grand Marnier. There are also equally indulgent options from the in-house pâtisserie atelier, including their apple tarte fine ($88) and crème caramel ($78).

The space itself, designed by Hernan Zanghellini, aims for a classic bistro feel with burgundy-striped walls, glossy red tables, and hand-painted murals. Floor-to-ceiling casement doors open out onto the ‘Jardin’ terrace built for alfresco dining, where four-legged visitors are welcomed with special dog treats. The venue also runs a late afternoon l’apéro session featuring French wines, cocktails, and baked camembert ($168), as well as a weekend brunch with free-flowing bubbly and a curated French spread.

Bistrot’s Suzette is open daily from 12nn to 10pm at Shop G02, Cullinan Sky Mall, Kai Tak. Reservations can be made via Bistrochat.
