Put it in your calendars now, kids! Until very recently, Studio Ghibli has always refused to offer digital versions of its content in any format, but Netflix recently announced that from February 1 onwards, 21 films from the legendary Japanese art house Studio Ghibli will find a home on the streaming platform.

The expansive Studio Ghibli filmography will be subtitled in 28 languages, which is no small task. This partnership will enable fans to enjoy beloved classics such as Academy Award®-winner Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, Kiki’s Delivery Service, My Neighbor Totoro, The Tale of The Princess Kaguya and more, in their native languages.
