But that’s all about to change as a new concept salon has just opened in Fashion Walk that offers beauty treatments for both pets and owners, allowing both to get pampered together at the same time.

Boasting 8,000 sq ft of space, Private I Concept Store houses 12 different zones that provide a wide variety of beauty services including a hair salon; nail services by Nail Nail; pet grooming led by experienced Japanese groomer Aoki Toshimitsu; a pet clinic; a carbonated water bath and natural mud spa for pooches, which apparently improves blood circulation, keeps the fur shiny and even soothes itchy skin; and Causeway Bay’s only swimming pool for dogs and owners, allowing you and your furry best friend to splash about.

As if that’s not enough, there’s also a daycare centre where you can board your pets should you want to fit in a couple of hours of retail therapy – it is Causeway Bay, after all.
