The guesswork is over – we’re seeing him in October

Social media has been rife recently with speculation that The Weeknd might be performing in Hong Kong. Well, guess no more, because it has just been confirmed that the R&B pop artist will in fact be bringing his ‘After Hours Til Dawn’ stadium tour to our shores!
The Weeknd has been on tour across Europe, the UK, Latin America, and Australia, with more than 7.5 million tickets sold over 153 shows, purportedly making it the highest-grossing tour ever by a male solo artist. This year, the Canadian singer-songwriter will bring his tour to Asia, starting in late September in Tokyo and moving on to Jakarta, Singapore, Seoul, and Bangkok, then playing Hong Kong on October 30 and 31, before wrapping up in Kuala Lumpur in early November.
This Asia leg marks the final chapter of his entire world tour, so if you haven’t caught him in any other locations, then this could be your final chance to see the multi-platinum, seven-times Diamond-certified musician on show for a while. From everything we’ve been seeing, the whole production looks super dramatic, with a distinctly post-apocalyptic vibe and religious-adjacent iconography, so we’re very excited to be able to see this live.
Set your calendar alerts: The artist pre-sale begins on May 18 at 10am, then ZA Visa cardholders will get exclusive priority access from May 19 to 20, followed by early access for Trip.com users from May 20 to 21. While the Trip.com tickets open at 10am, the Live Nation members pre-sale also starts on May 20, but from 2 to 8pm. Finally, general public tickets will be released on May 21 at 10am on HK Ticketing.
The Weeknd will be performing in the Kai Tak Stadium on Friday and Saturday, October 30 and 31. Check back for ticket prices and VIP package details when we learn about them.
