Trevor Noah is coming to Hong Kong for three stand-up shows this October

It’s taken a while, but Trevor Noah is officially heading to Hong Kong! The Emmy-winning comedian and six-time Grammys host will be taking over MacPherson Stadium next month, stepping onto the stage for three consecutive nights from October 26 to 28.

Local comedy fans might remember Noah was scheduled to bring his ‘Loud and Clear’ world tour to town back in 2019, but the visit got pulled due to social unrest in the city at the time. Seven years on, he’s finally making the trip over.

While Noah became a household name during his seven-year run as the host of Comedy Central’s The Daily Show, he’s also an author who has penned two books – including his bestselling memoir Born a Crime – released about a dozen stand-up specials, and is currently the host of his weekly interview podcast, What Now? with Trevor Noah.

Known for his sharp observational wit, Noah often uses personal stories about growing up in South Africa to dissect broader topics ranging from politics to everyday cultural quirks, so expect plenty of his cheeky commentary on world affairs when he steps up to the mic.

Tickets are going for $688, $788, $888, and $1,088. General sales officially open at 10am on September 11 over on Ticketflap. Given that MacPherson Stadium is a pretty tight space for someone who usually sells out massive arenas, you’ll definitely want to jump on those quickly.
