As you may expect from a restaurant that champions good ol’ English fare, Gordon Ramsay's London House is making a big splash for Christmas this year. Sink your teeth into a delicious two or three-course lunch menu ($188-$228) filled with classic holiday dishes such as a roast turkey and Christmas pudding. On Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, the restaurant will also be serving a special eight-course dinner menu ($428) that's made for sharing, with mixed mushroom tart and ham hock terrine alongside many festive favourites.

Warm up with a glass of mulled wine ($88) at Brotzeit German Bier Bar & Restaurant before making your way to their meaty Christmas platter ($828), which includes roast chicken with apple and cinnamon filling, signature pork knuckle, assorted sausages and much more mouth-watering treats that carnivores will delight in. If that doesn't whet your appetite, you can also try the special three-course festive menu ($468), which includes choices such as roast turkey breast with homemade stuffing and chocolate Christmas log with mixed berries and ice cream, as well as a glass of sparkling wine.

Fancy something a little different? If you’re looking to break with tradition, drop by Hancham Korean BBQ and you'll be offered set meals for two, four or eight people ($767-$2,444). This Christmas season, Namo Avant Thai brings us a special festive dinner menu ($468 on December 24; $398 on December 25-27) full of authentic Thai flair with a modern twist. The exclusive Christmas menu offers an appetiser platter with seafood, followed by a seafood pasta with smoked fish broth to warm you up. For mains, choose between New Zealand peppered lamb chop and black cod steak in chilli jam, or jumbo prawns in garlic dill butter and stuffed turkey roll in Massaman curry. Both options are served with crabmeat fried rice, sautéed broccoli and baby carrots. Don't forget to leave room for dessert, which is a Christmas log cake with coconut pineapple gelato. Apart from the set Christmas menu, the restaurant is also offering three exclusive Thai-style Impossible Meat dishes – including the Impossible Meat lollipop ($98), Impossible Meat burger with fries and mixed salad and Impossible Meat Ball with green or red curry ($148) – for those who are looking for veggie-friendly options for the holidays.

Gather your family and friends at Alfresco Lane's PizzaExpress, while you enjoy the mouth-watering turkey pizza with cranberry and onion sauce, and creamy turkey fusilli, both with a little spicy kick. Celebrate the yuletide at Wooloomooloo Steakhouse. The popular steakhouse offers special dinner menus on Christmas Eve, Christmas night (both $688) and New Year's Eve ($898). For Christmas, start with the lobster medallions and seared Hokkaido scallop with pickled fennel and romesco sauce, or go for the pan-fried foie gras with seared smoked duck breast and fresh figs salad. Then, alongside traditional Christmas turkey, indulge in the likes of slow-roasted Australian beef tenderloin, salmon and prawn wellington with lobster sauce, as well as the delightful dessert platter that includes Christmas pudding, dark chocolate truffle, mini fresh raspberry tart, macaron and Grand Marnier choux. For New Year's Eve, start with the delicious salmon tartare paired with blue swimmer crab jumbo lump meat, as well as the slow-cooked wagyu beef cheek and leek parcel. Afterwards, enjoy a selection of Atlantic sea bass fillet, roasted Australian lamb loin or slow-roasted Australian beef tenderloin and braised short ribs.  Don’t forget the exquisite ‘Dessert Temptation’, which includes crêpe roll with caramelised apple, chocolate financier with citrus segments, cherry crumble tart and macaron sponge with fresh raspberry.
