Time Out says
Hong Kong is abuzz as the talk of the wine world right now – especially as the Wine & Spirits Fair rolls into town – and we're getting really excited about a brand new wine pairing menu at Café Malacca, located in Hotel Jen Hong Kong. The restaurant has made a name for itself as one of the most authentic Malaysian and Singaporean kitchens in town, with refined yet homely comfort dishes that never fail to impress.
In partnership with Kerry Wines, the culinary team at Cafe Malacca has put together a wine pairing menu that should not be missed. Highlights on the wine and food pairing menu include the Penang char koay teow ($92) paired with an aromatic and complex Roccolo Grassi Soave DOC La Broia 2013 ($208), a round and fruit-forward E.S Vino Malbec 2015 ($138) paired with the restaurant's impressive satay ($98), and the standout beef rendang ($108) complemented by a fresh and expressive Domaine Marc Colin Et Fils Bourgogne Rouge 2012 ($238).
Each pairing has been specially selected to enhance the already complex flavours of Straits cuisine, and now brings it to the world of fine wine.
