Named after the sacred Japanese mountain Mount Gassan, this 3,000sq ft restaurant perches on the 19th floor of H Queen’s in Central. Inside, the theme reflects a ‘theatrical fishing village’ with interior elements of a dockside and a traditional yakatabune houseboat. The restaurant offers four dining experiences, including kaiseki ryori, a traditional-style multi-course meal; experiential dining in the private dining room where projectors screen serene moods, lights and sounds; and private sushi omakase. Lunch sets start from $268 while tasting menus start at $988 per person for lunch and omakase menus at $1,988.
