Hazukido

With outlets all over Asia from Taipei to Kuala Lumpur, this Japanese-style bakery serves up an impressive range of croissants from the usual suspects to the downright adventurous. From the caramel pudding to salted egg yolk and taro to even cod roe, there’s seemingly not a flavour that Hazukido won’t experiment with. Their honeycomb croissant ($15) is the closest they get to a plain croissant though, and it’s our pick of the bunch, with a sweet and crispy crust that crunches into a buttery, fluffy delectableness. If the reasonable prices weren’t enough here, it’s always buy five get one free.
