AUTHENTIC INDONESIAN CUISINE The outlandish Southeast Asian décor gives you an idea of the food served at IR 1968, a branch of the original in Causeway Bay, where, as name suggests, they've been producing Indonesian dishes for over 40 years. Try Pepes Ikan (spicy fish with banana leaf), and the very traditional Gado Gado (a gorgeous portion of Indonesian salad, assorted Asian vegetables, bean curd, boiled egg, and served with peanut sauce and prawn crackers. Great on the stomach and budget. Meal for two: around $300.
