Mad Coffee Roaster (叄瘋)

A recent addition to the laidback neighbourhood of Ap Lei Chau, Mad Coffee Roaster is a small cafe specialising in Taiwanese cuisine and locally-roasted coffee. Gracing their menu are light bites such as black truffles and mushroom omelette (don't forget to add on some cheese), and the Dawn Bagel comprised of smoked salmon, spinach, sunny-side-up egg, and dill sauce. The signature braised pork rice served with various sides also comes highly recommended, and pairs well with the cafe's cold brew or pour-over coffee. The cafe also has an online store where coffee lovers can purchase single-origin coffee and espresso blends.
