Time Out says

Check out our Time Out Eats video:

This easy-going cafe is located in the trendy area of Tai Hang and is a peaceful spot to sit down for a cup of coffee. Dressed in white and curved windows, Miles by MMT feels a bit like a quiet, minimalist cabin and offers some great bites to eat while you're there. From Japanese-style sandwiches to hot paninis, breakfast and brunch plates, dessert, and a bakery station with an assortment of pastries and baked goods, there's plenty to choose from here.

Menu highlights include the fried chicken croffle ($78), a croissant-waffle hybrid pastry served with a perfectly fried sunny-side-up egg, as well as the tamago sando, or egg sandwich ($108), that is deep-fried and paired with bacon and onion chutney. Then there is the Japanese avalanche pancake ($118) which comes topped with a snow-like cream. You have to wait at least 20 minutes for this one, but trust us, the fluffy pancakes and smooth cream combination is definitely worth it.

The bakery station is filled with items that come fresh from the oven upstairs. When they're ready, the bakes are ready to eat or packed for easy takeaway. Choose from muffins, loaf cakes, burnt Basque cheesecake with mochi, a Biscoff s'more choco brownie, and the French bread puddings that we've been seeing all over Instagram. It comes in four to five different flavours including original custard, Lady Grey, Ovaltine, Milo, and matcha ($18/pc or $30/2pc; matcha is $40)

As for drinks, there are a number of coffees to have or more interesting coffee drink options to try. The Mysterio ($65) is an espresso blended with mint and black sugar, while coffee with tapioca pearls ($65) might delight the boba fans out there.
