Time Out says

Thai food like you've never experienced it before in Hong Kong

Go deeper into the cuisine of northeastern Thailand on April 25 and 26, when Soul Food Thai joins forces with chef Chalee Kader of the buzzy 100 Mahaseth in Bangkok. Kader will be cooking in collaboration with Soul Food Thai's chef, Thailand native Charrinn Signdaechakarn, and founder, food critic-turned-restaurateur Jarrett Wrisley, to create four-course feasts that celebrate the flavours of the region better known as Isaan.

Renowned for its vibrant nose-to-tail cooking, 100 Mahaseth has become a must-visit on the city's scene. It even earned a Bib Gourmand from the most recent Michelin Guide to Bangkok. Soul Food Thai, meanwhile, shares the same reverence for Thai food as its sister venue in Bangkok, Soul Food Mahanakorn. Both were founded by Wrisley, who has studied Thai culture and cuisine extensively and extols the virtues of the food of Isaan above all else.

Expect Kader, Signdaechakarn and Wrisley to present some pretty unique dishes you won't find this side of Udon Thani. Those include catfish larb on pla raa chips (a spicy, tangy salad of minced catfish on chips made with fermented fish sauce), charcoal-roasted bone marrow with perilla seeds, and ant larvae and wild melientha leaves in a smoky fish broth.
