Sushi Kumogaku is a cosy sushi-ya tucked away in Central's H Code. Guests can grab a seat at Sushi Kumogaku's 12-seater counter table made from Japanese hinoki wood, or head inside the restaurant's private dining room for an intimate experience. At the helm of the sushi-ya is Kin-san, a local chef who honed his sushi skills in several renowned venues. Here, diners can expect to enjoy traditional Edo-mae sushi with creative twists, such as choux puffs filled with ankimo (monkfish liver), which draws inspiration from local pineapple buns. Additionally, Sushi Kumogaku offers an omakase menu full of seasonal offerings, like Echizen crab, Kanagawa octopus, Iwashi maki from Hokkaido, amberjack, ebi from Kagoshima, and plenty more.
