Time Out says
There seem to be more Sichuan restaurants popping up in Hong Kong every day. One of the newest eateries to join the mix is the Twelve Flavor flagship store in Kennedy Town. Surround yourself with modern Chinese décor from the lanterns and folding screens to Panda plushies, and make yourself comfortable at one of their cushioned benches. The must-try here is the numbing and spicy dried hot pot. Diners have a choice of 25 ingredients to throw in like sliced beef, pig’s intestines, chicken cartilage and bean curd skin, which will then be mixed with secret-recipe sauce and 12 different kinds of spices (hence the name) flown in from Chengdu. The rest of the menu is brimming with other spicy creations and nothing here is bland.
