Time Out says

Yokai, which refers to the supernatural entities and spirits in Japanese folklore, is a new restaurant themed after Japanese manga artist and historian Shigeru Mizuki’s Yokai Picture Book. Set in very unique and somewhat eerie interiors, the restaurant focuses on charcoal-grilled chicken skewers, starting from $38, and premium tuna cuts, while also offering fine and rare sakes to wash it all down. Kyushu-native Hirofumi Okuma heads its yakitori kitchen using Yamaguchi’s Choshu chicken and locally sourced birds too. Another highlight is Yokai’s tuna donburi (or sashimi rice bowls) which start from $338.
