What kind of person is your ideal date?
Someone funny, kind, smart, and very low key.

What’s been the best part of your week so far?
Coming home to New York City to visit friends and family for Chinese New Year! (Worst part: dealing with the jet lag of a 13-hour time difference)

What’s the best present you ever received?
I made a scrapbook with pictures, tickets and business cards of bars and restaurants, etc from a trip to Spain and the south of France.

What’s something you’ve always wanted to try?
I’ve been wanting to do the hike to Tiger Leaping Gorge in Yunnan, but I haven't had someone adventurous enough to come with me!

How would you describe yourself?

I’m a portrait artist. I love drawing portraits for new people I meet, as well as old friends. I can only work doing something I have passion for and I always love to share my thoughts with people on the same channel.

What’s an ideal date?
The ideal date should be very relaxed and feel both comfortable and sweet. We shouldn’t need to think about what to talk about or how to answer.

What would you love to do with life?
If I were backpacking and busking in Europe, I’d feel like my dream is being fulfilled.

What’s an ideal weekend for you?
My ideal weekend would be non-stop drawing for 48 hours. If only the weekdays didn’t tire me out so much!

What’s something you’ve always wanted to try?
I’ve always wanted to organise an exhibition of my art, but I think I need to improve my skills before that. I also want to publish my own comic.

How would you describe yourself?
A child at heart, goofy, active, chill and adventurous. I don’t tend to take life too seriously.

Someone who is confident, intellectually simulating, who I can joke around with and wants to explore life and the world.

What’s been the best part of your week so far?
Either hiking with my dog or surfing.

What’s the best present you ever gave someone? Ever received?
I made super complicated stencils and took that person to do some ‘graffiti’, I then framed the used ‘coloured’ stencils as a gift. Best present ever received must be… bungee jumping!!

What’s something you’ve always wanted to try?
Skydiving… I just haven’t got round to it yet and I want my first try to be somewhere spectacular.

What things would you save if your apartment were on fire?
Living things first: my dog! Then maybe the cat (of course the cat too, j/k). Then my laptop and my phone since all my photos are there. Everything else can be replaced.

If you found a magic lamp with a genie, what would your three wishes be?
Good health for everybody – being strong and healthy makes such a big difference in your ability to enjoy life. And, partly because I’m Mr Congeniality and because the world really does need it, world peace. Also, unlimited wishes!

Someone who is always up for an adventure! I love exploring new places, whether it’s travelling to a new country or just meandering around a new neighbourhood.

There’s a really cool underground music scene in Seattle, so there’re always small, intimate concerts at the local bars. I love bars with live music featuring up and coming artists!

How would you describe yourself?
Here’s an answer in threes. Three attributes: balanced, steady, optimistic. Three hobbies: reading, traveling, fitness. Three jobs I’ve had: cave tour guide, bagel maker, loading dock worker. Three things to improve on: cooking, photography, Cantonese. Three random things I like: snow, real books, sad songs.

What kind of person is your ideal date?
Independent. Has interesting things going on and brings new perspectives/people/interests into my life. Is genuine and reliable.

What’s something memorable from your childhood?
I grew up on a small animal farm in the mountains. My dad chopped down trees to make a clearing in the forest (seriously). Then he and my mum built our house and barn with their own hands. Yes, the structures are still standing. We had no neighbours and were free to roam the surrounding countryside, far and wide, as long as we were home by dinner.

If you could jump into a pool of anything, what would it be?
Nothing will ever top jumping into the ball pit at Chuck E Cheese as a kid. That is pure joy. If you don’t get the reference, you’ll have to trust me.

What habit annoys you the most?
Walking while on the phone.

What part of the body do you find most attractive and why?
I think nice arms are attractive. Maybe they’re a proxy for the fitness of the entire body.
