One of the few traditional Chinese pastry shops in Hong Kong, Bean Mountain specialises in Chinese puddings and cakes that come from humble beginnings. Originating from village recipes, the puddings here are still loved by locals who grew up eating these sweet (and sometimes savoury) treats. Expect items like classic but jai gou (red bean pudding), lor mai chi (filled glutinous rice balls), and even heung jiu gou (banana rolls).
