Old San Yang

A shop that stood for over four decades in Causeway Bay selling “Ga-wu” rice dumplings, Old San Yang is a favorite amongst locals for both their crabs and their rice dumplings alike. We recommend the savoury Kam Wah ham rice dumpling ($48), a variety of ham known for its strong fragrance. A small piece on its own can constitute the essence of a whole broth. The fat of the pork melting inside the rice dumpling lets the glutinous rice slide into your mouth, along with its strong aromatic flavours.
