Written and directed by Nasthasia Faure, ‘Wait!’ is an original musical that explores death and the uncertainty of the afterlife through a humorously tragic blend of music and choreography.
The story takes place on the River Styx, where a group of seemingly mismatched souls gather under the watchful eyes of Hades and Zeus. As they traverse the Underworld guided by Chantal, the group is offered 72 hours to relive one moment of their earthly lives before passing on — but not before they unveil the secret that ties their destinies together.
‘Wait!’ is on show at 8pm on December 4 and 5, and 4pm and 8pm on December 6 at the Sheung Wan Civic Centre Theatre, 5/F, Sheng Wan Civic Centre, 345 Queen’s Road Central, Sheung Wan. The musical will be performed in French with English and Traditional Chinese subtitles. Tickets are available at eventbrite.hk and priced from $360 per person.
