Buddha's Birthday celebration carnival

For the Buddha's Birthday this year, a huge celebration will be taking place at Victoria Park on May 26. Festivities include a vegetarian food fair, carnival games, a parade, and various rituals such as bathing of the Buddha, sutra copying, and more. Shopping malls throughout the city, including Citywalk, Temple Mall, Cheung Sha Wan Plaza, The Whampoa, Lok Fu Place, and Heng On Commercial Centre, will also take part in the festivities by offering opportunities for the public to participate in Buddha bathing activities.
