This year, Campari Group is presenting a stellar lineup of bar events in Hong Kong and Macau to drum up excitement among drinkers in the city for the Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2025 award ceremony. Head to The Opposites on July 13 from 4pm to 7pm as Silvio Daniele and Marsya A. Soemantri of Jakarta’s Cosmo Pony, along with Nicholas Alexander and Sylvia Chong of Singapore’s Atlas, join the bar’s co-founders, Antonio Lai and Samuel Kwok, behind the stick to whip up Campari-based cocktails.
Otherwise, hop on a ferry to Macau and pop into Wing Lei Bar on July 14 for Aperitivo Canto from 1pm to 7pm. This Italian-inspired bar takeover sees faces such as Mar Dongi from Bangkok’s Bar Sathorn, Filippo Sanchi from Shanghai’s Bar S-Otto, Wing Lo from our own Bar Leone, Lorenzo Querci and Giovanni Allario from Milan’s Moebius, Jay Gray from Singapore’s Idle Hands, and Matteo Cadeddu from Bangkok’s Opium Bar – who’ll all be offering craft Campari creations paired with Cantonese fusion bites created by chef Tam Kwok-fung of Chef Tam’s Seasons.
To wrap up the fun-filled celebrations, Bar Leone will hold its second edition of Disco Leone on July 16 from 4pm to 7pm. Along with Lorenzo Querci and Giovanni Allario of Milan’s Moebius, as well as Faramarz Pootsy and Alessandro Mengoni of Florence’s Locale Firenze, Hong Kong’s own Lorenzo Antinori will pour out bold Campari cocktails as the Central-based neighbourhood bar transforms into a retro disco, complete with scrumptious pizzas and catchy tunes.
